Halo 5: Guardians

343 Industries is making the DLC content free because they feel it keeps the player base united. Offering paid DLC splits the player base into those serious about the game and those that are not. I think that this is a great idea. Players are essentially getting the whole promised game, if not more, for the same price they paid in the first place. The complaint of games being incomplete from the get go, and being made whole with DLC after release is becoming very common. It was, and still is a big complaint about Destiny. Although the recent expansions have definitely helped alleviate the problem it still is a concern.
The 4 player co-op news is fantastic in my opinion. I feel that the lack of cooperative multi player among games in recent years has been a downside. If your friends do not have the same system, games, or online subscription, there is no way for you to play with or against one another. Except for at home on your couch. I know my little brother will definitely enjoy this feature, as will many more people who pick up this game.
I've always liked Halo, and I think that Halo 5 will be a great game.
I'm out.
